Tarpan Honker - body from 1989 in original paint. IVECO engine 2.5 TD , American Borg Warner reducer - the vehicle with this reducer during road driving has rear drive . Off-road the front drive is attached . In the front axle are mounted in the hubs mechanical clutches , which disconnect the drive to the wheels . This solution in the case of highway driving means that the drive from the wheels is not transferred to the mechanisms in the front axle, resulting in lower rolling resistance and consequently lower fuel consumption.
In this Honker I installed bridges of a new type - hypoidal. The vehicle has power steering and disc brakes on the front axle.
Benches are installed at the rear - in general, there are 10 seats in the vehicle.
