I caught the bug for Honker quite recently. It just so happens that my Brother-in-law owns an ambulance and so the thinking and combining began.
I appreciate restoring vehicles and bringing them back to their glory. However, I am also a fan of "restomods". Hence the ideas for the various versions I have created. You see a lot of converted Defenders, etc. I wanted to see what could be done based on our native terrain. That's how about this a few Virtual Honker Tunings were created 🙂

Orange Flatbed was created on the basis of a carriage, Blue Wide Body on a standard passenger version. The Black Five-Door is a vision of what it would have looked like if it had been decided to design it in a different form.

And finally there is the Humker - as a Humvee fan I wanted to see what it would be like if the Honker was similar to an American vehicle. I based it on an ambulance frame. I kept a good part of the front, part of the hood, even managed to smuggle in side storage compartments. It was important not to modify the frame (except possibly shortening the rear behind the wheels). Of course, as with the Humvee, the key here is the modularity of the body. This version is in continuous development so it has changed a bit since it was published online.

In theory, each of these concepts is buildable. It is known that a lot has to be fabricated, but rims (not applicable to the Humker), tires, lighting, door handles or mirrors (acct from the Defender, although they can also be found on older versions of the Renault Trafic) are generally available for sale in our country.

You've probably noticed the lack of interior concepts... I have several but haven't had time to illustrate any yet.
